Restaurant Guide: Corrigan’s Mayfair

Fusing seasonal produce with Richard Corrigan’s unmistakable flair, Corrigan’s offers a refreshing take on British cuisine. Inspired by Richard’s humble, rural upbringing, Corrigan's Mayfair brings honest, no-nonsense food to Mayfair.
Generous portions accompany an exciting wine list and atmosphere, combining twenty first century luxury and style with down-to-earth, home-inspired cooking. The restaurant also features a stylish cocktail bar and three private dining rooms: The Chef’s Table and Kitchen Library seating between two and 12 guests, and the elegant Lindsay Room seating up to 30.

Travel Guide: L’Ermitage Mont Saint Michel

L’Ermitage, with its seven spacious suites and private terraces, and situated only 3km away from the UNESCO World Heritage renowned site known as the ‘wonder of the West’, is all about understated elegance. With its luxurious and cosy interiors, the hotel is a calm, friendly and relaxing place, offering a personalised service dedicated to making your stay memorable.

London Restaurant Festival – From 3 October 2011
The London Restaurant Festival is a citywide celebration of eating out, designed to showcase London's diverse and exciting range of restaurants. From 3 to 17 October, food lovers can explore some of the capital’s finest cooking, from its high-profile Michelin-starred restaurants to coveted neighbourhood gems.
This year’s event includes a ‘Gourmet Odyssey’, where food enthusiasts can eat at three influential restaurants, meeting chefs and fellow foodies along the way, transported on a Routemaster bus, and The Big Debate, where speakers including AA Gill will argue ‘There Is No Such Thing As Ethnic Food’. ‘First Night’ Premiere Party – 4 October 2011
On Tuesday 4 October 2011 Boisdale of Canary Wharf will be hosting the UK premiere of what promises to be the next British box office hit - musical romantic comedy First Night directed by Christopher Menaul (Prime Suspect) and starring Richard E. Grant and Sarah Brightman.
Boisdale of Canary Wharf have a limited number of tickets available for the screening at West India Quay Cineworld and premiere party at Boisdale of Canary Wharf. The London Lifestyle Awards – 6 October 2011
The London Lifestyle Award show is an evening to celebrate London and the businesses and people that make the city. The evening will include a champagne reception, a 3-course dinner and an evening celebrating the best of London with some high profile guests and live entertainment. Bompas & Parr at the Mount Street Deli – 10 October 2011
On Monday 10 October at 6pm, Jelly Monger Sam Bompas will be at The Mount Street Deli introducing the fantastical world of Bompas & Parr. Bompas & Parr have been named by The Independent as one of "the 15 people who will define the future of arts in Britain". They have collaborated with Lord Foster and Heston Blumenthal to design jellies, flooded a Grade I listed building with four tonnes of alcoholic punch that visitors boated across before drinking, created a breathable cloud of gin and tonic and built a chocolate waterfall.

Frieze Art Fair – From 13 October 2011
Frieze Art Fair takes place every October in Regent’s Park showcasing new and established artists from 170 of the world’s leading galleries to an international audience of contemporary art lovers.

New Indian Cuisine and Wine Pairing Event at Benares – 19 October 2011
On 19 October 2011 Atul Kochhar reintroduces guests to his 'Indian Essence' cookbook, selecting recipes from his book to create a five-course menu. Barclays ATP World Tour Finals Gala – 17 November 2011
Promising to be the event of the tennis season, the first ever Barclays ATP World Tour Finals Gala will take place on Thursday 17 November within the iconic surroundings of London's Battersea Power Station, raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.
A celebration to launch the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals, this fabulous cocktail party will be attended by the top eight singles players and top eight doubles teams in the world. The Emerald and Ivy Ball – 3 December 2011
Ronan Keating invites you to join him for the annual Emerald and Ivy Ball, held near the Embankment, which will include a champagne reception, a three-course dinner, live music performances and an exclusive charity auction.
