Where to Eat? Portal Restaurant, Clerkenwell
Portal is a modern Portuguese restaurant and bar in the foodie haven of St John Street. Architecturally, the dining room is stunning: a glass conservatory set in amongst a listed brick courtyard with atmospheric and beautiful up-lighting creating a dramatic backdrop. Food is mainly Iberian-inspired and although not inexpensive, the quality of ingredients remains high throughout the menu and worth the price. Click here to read our full review.

Rumble in the Kitchen – 20 September 2012
Top chefs and hospitality industry figures will be taking part in Rumble in the Kitchen, a white-collar boxing match in aid of Galvin’s Chance, a charity project aimed at giving young people at risk the opportunity to train and work front of house in some of London’s finest restaurants and hotels.
The evening will consist of a champagne reception on arrival followed by a food-court of culinary delights from some of London's top chefs. Rumble in the Kitchen will be held on 20th September 2012 from 7pm onwards at the Royal Automobile Club on Pall Mall. The event is limited to 300 guests with ringside tables of four people for £1,000, ringside seats for £150 and standing tickets for £100.

The Cube by Electrolux – until 30 September 2012
Following successful visits to Brussels and Milan, The Cube will be positioned on top of the Royal Festival Hall offering incredible views of London with food to match. Michelin starred chefs including Sat Bains, Claude Bosi and Tom Kitchin will present a unique menu using locally sourced ingredients. Serving a minimum of five courses, dishes will be accompanied by matching wines and 'unique sound and light concepts'. ??

Capital Rocks – 29 November 2012
Capital Rocks will take place at London's Roundhouse in November, as Capital FM DJs and hit music artists come together for cocktails, a three-course dinner and exclusive live performances.
