The Waney family (the people behind Roka, Zuma, La Petite Maison and Il Baretto) will open their latest restaurant, Aurelia in Mayfair on 7 November 2011.
The menu will offer Mediterranean sharing dishes taken from the regions of Tuscany, Provence and Catalonia, and is split into separate sections, including the charcoal grill, rotisserie, charcuterie, salads and dishes from the kitchen.
Sample dishes will include ‘Castelluccio lentil salad with orange and mint’; ‘Wild boar saucisson’; ‘Dover sole a la plancha, tomato, clams, capers and beurre noisette’ and ‘Queen scallops, chorizo crumbs and garlic butter’.
On the ground floor there will be a casual dining room and a large bar area, with a more formal restaurant on the lower ground floor with an open kitchen.
