Pizarro: New Restaurant Launch

José Pizarro, who earlier this year opened a tapas bar called “José” on Bermondsey Street to great acclaim, has recently opened “Pizarro”, a Spanish restaurant on a larger site with 40 covers, also on Bermondsey Street.

While ‘José’ offers small tapas plates, ‘Pizarro’ offers dishes such as Lobster Caldereta, Partridge Escabeche, Wild Sea Bass with Chorizo, which will be bigger and more suited to sharing, along with an extensive list of Cavas.

In addition to the main restaurant area, there is a marble bar and communal table at the front for those who simply want a glass of wine and some smaller dishes, including cheese, olives and jamónes. The restaurant operates a no reservation policy.

Address: 194 Bermondsey Street, London, SE1 3TQ
