Dream Team Dinner at Hawksmoor Guildhall

With a line-up of five famous chefs, each serving a course, the Dream Team Dinner in aid of Action Against Hunger will involve Brett Graham of The Ledbury, Bruno Loubet of Bistrot Bruno Loubet, Nathan Outlaw of Restaurant Nathan Outlaw, Pierre Koffmann of Koffmann’s at The Berkeley and pastry chef Claire Clark.

Held at Hawksmoor Guildhall (pictured above) on the night there will be a silent auction with a range of special auction lots and raffle tickets (including Gucci products, art from the Broad Gallery, overnight stay in a 5* hotel  and tickets to a Paramount Pictures Film Première). Le Bristol at The Greenhouse

Arnaud Bignon, Executive Chef at The Greenhouse restaurant in Mayfair, will join forces with Eric Frechon, Head Chef of the three Michelin starred restaurant Le Bristol in Paris, for a one off ‘Four Hands’ dinner on Saturday 27 October at The Greenhouse.

The seven-course menu dinner will start at 7.30 with a Champagne reception with dinner at 8pm, priced at £120.

Mallorca Week at Boqueria

The grand finale to London Mallorca Week with renowned Mallorcan chef Oscar Martinez offering an all day menu at Boqueria in Brixton. In addition to the favourite dishes at Boqueria like paella and suckling pig, Chef Martinez will also be showcasing Mallorcan food like lamb with Sobrasada, Mallorcan black pudding lollipops and coca with cod. There will also be a wide selection of Mallorcan wines specially available by the glass and bottle.

Battle of the Bottles at Super Tuscan

Super Tuscan, the Italian wine bar in Spitalfields, will be hosting a wine tasting evening on 30 October with Tom Harrow from WineChap.

Four wines from Super Tuscan’s wine list will be squaring up against the four Italian challengers chosen by Tom, with hearty Italian cooking to match. Tickets are priced at £49, inclusive of wine tastings and food.

Alimentum Comes to London

Fresh from winning his first Michelin Star this year, chef Mark Poynton from Alimentum in Cambridge will be cooking in the Landmark Hotel’s Winter Garden restaurant (pictured below) for 3 weeks every Tuesday to Saturday evening from 20th November until 8th December.

The à la carte will feature Alimentum’s signature dishes with a choice of four starters, mains and desserts (£45), but for the full Alimentum experience, the six-course tasting menu is available for £65. There will also be a ten-course ‘blind’ tasting menu, created exclusively for the Winter Garden.

Freeze by elit at Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor

Bringing a touch of the Alpine and the ‘après ski’ feel to Knightsbridge, Freeze by elit has launched at Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor terrace and will continue until 31 December. The terrace has a sleek and elegant look with a luxurious log cabin, offering cocktails, tapas and Stoli® ice pops from elit by Stolichnaya.

Disco Bistro EC4 at The Rising Sun

Disco Bistro EC4 at The Rising Sun is a new pop-up residency in the heart of St Paul’s, from chef Carl Clarke.

Disco Bistro will be a restaurant on the 1st floor of The Rising Sun pub in St Paul’s serving a daily changing menu of rare-breed meats, day-boat fish and wild ingredients. The actual pub will serve ‘trash food’ inspired by street food and includes lobster corn rolls, French dipped burgers and fried chicken in pig-skin.

The official launch date is 19th November and it will run for 6 months for lunch and dinner from Monday to Friday.
