Shake Shack London – American Burgers in Covent Garden

Shake Shack London opens its door to London’s burger-hungry fanatics on 5th July. Shake Shack is Danny Meyer’s first London restaurant, which will be located in the Market Building on the Covent Garden Piazza.

Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group includes some of New York’s best loved restaurants: Union Square Cafe, Gramercy Tavern and The Modern at the Museum of Modern Art, to name a few.

Known as a ‘roadside’ burger stand, Shake Shack started in 2004 in Madison Square Park, and now has multiple locations across the US and the rest of the world.

The menu at Shake Shack London will feature all the Shake Shack favourites including the signature ShackBurger, SmokeShack, ‘Shroom Burger and Shack-cago Dog.

A selection of craft beer will be available, including ShackMeister Ale on tap, which is brewed exclusively for Shake Shack by Brooklyn Brewery in New York City.

Desserts will focus on frozen custard in shakes and ‘concretes’ (frozen custard blended at high speed with ‘mix-ins’), made in collaboration with St. JOHN Bakery and chocolatier paul.a.young.

While not for humans, the “Woof” section on the menu will offer a range of sweet treats for dogs.

Londoners have been going wild for burgers for the last few years and with the arrival of Shake Shack London, the London burger scene will hit a new high. You can view the menu here.
