Tom Sellers at the Rebel Dining Society

Tom Sellers, who has worked with Tom Aikens, Thomas Keller, Adam Byatt, and, more recently, Rene Redzepi at Noma, will be popping-up in London on 28 and 29 November.

Foreword‘ will be a “five-course experimental extravaganza” in collaboration with pop-up club The Rebel Dining Society, with only 40 seats available.

The menu itself will feature avant-garde takes on dishes like bread and dripping for starter; beef cheek, pumpkin seed, brown butter and sorrel for main; and charred pear, parsnip and buttermilk for dessert. Tom will open a permanent restaurant, ‘Story’, in 2012.

The French Laundry to Pop-up at Harrods

Thomas Keller, one of the most celebrated chefs in the US, has confirmed that his French Laundry restaurant will pop-up at Harrods in London for 10 days from 1 October 2011.

The French Laundry restaurant, based in Napa Valley, California, has 3 Michelin stars as well as regularly being named as one of the best restaurants in the world. The pop-up will take place in Harrods’ fourth floor Georgian Restaurant, offering a nine-course tasting menu at lunch and dinner, priced at £250 per person.
